If your head hurts, first you have to identify the source and extent of the pain. For example, if a physical object hit your head, depending on how hard and what type of object, you would need to treat it differently. Pain from a small bump could probably be eased with an ice pack -- but pain from a hard blow or sharp object will likely need medical treatment as you may need stitches or treatment for a concussion.
On the other hand, your head could also be hurting from doing too much work or staring too long at a TV or computer screen (in that case, we suggest that you stop doing the work and close your eyes so that you can rest and relax until you feel better). If you're looking for a quick fix, over-the-counter medicine like Tylenol or aspirin can also help with a headache in many cases. Sometimes people suffer from migraines with unknown causes, and need to take prescribed medication. Perhaps making some adjustments in your eating and/or sleeping habits can reduce the recurrence of head pain that is unrelated to physical impact (e.g., walking into a door). Please note that these are only suggestions and not medical advice; as with any health issue, the best solution may be to make an appointment with a licensed practitioner to review the problem -- or go to the ER if you've sustained a major injury.

Hi, 2 days ago, I accidentally crashed into the sharp handle of my door and I dropped to the floor with tears leaking which i couldn't control, feeling like i was going to faint. I couldn't stand up until five minutes later. Now i feel a huge bump on the side of my head, and when i lightly touch around the area, it tingles and i feel a sharp pain. I'm constantly getting headaches coming from the bruise and around the area. Is this considered as a mild-moderate Injury? Should i seek medical attention?

Headaches can be caused because of any reason. But, never should be taken lightly. If your head hurts frequently you should have it checked by a doctor to be sure that there is nothing major to worry about.
