Inkwhy, Inc. has launched an intentional community-driven initiative, the Bank To Make The World A Better Place (BTM). This project has a core goal of attracting diverse members and partners who aim to create positive social impact. The overall purpose is to create a movement around doing good, and to focus on generating positive impact rather than generating revenue. We have grown up operating within a system of earning and accumulating, whereas this new banking model is designed to focus on giving and creating transparency around the positive value being created for all. Context

Many of us have started recognizing how we benefit from existing systems and the foundation our current society has been built in – yet knowing that to truly make progress, we need to break down these systems and start anew in a different ways, to build in a better way, for better reasons, and to achieve better outcomes. We fear what a future might look like if it’s built differently, and resist from moving away from a place where we have been granted privilege and have experienced comfort in the way things are.
Together, we can overcome our fears and push through discomfort in order to come out the other end in a better place. BTM is built on the principles of equity and starting out in a position where everyone is invited to be a member and all members are given dollars (OMDs, more described below). OMDs will initially be exchanged and given for random acts of kindness as well as actions to support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The BTM will also seek to build a broad-based leadership team, to create a model for board diversity, and to open new opportunities for board service that are not currently or effectively available to many today.

How does the BTM work?
- As we grow our initial set of members who are willing to publicly share their identity, we are posting their account values below.
- We will track and activate member involvement using BTM resources.
- BTM has a transparent, open ledger to show transfer of funds and the resources held by the bank and its members.
- As of March 2022, the BTM is starting with //8,000,000,000,000 or 8 Trillion Omniversal Dollars (OMDs).
- This amount can also be delineated as //8T or 8 Trillion OMD.
- Each approved new member will automatically be given //1K or 1K OMD.
- Members can transfer selected amounts of OMD to each other.
- BTM may sponsor additional transfers of OMD from the overall pool, when you perform random acts of kindness or when you take action toward supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

We aim to build partnerships to reach 1MM+ members in 5-10 years, with at least 5MM actions tracked. As an example, AWorld in support of the Act Now campaign has already tracked millions of individual actions that support the SDGs.
